Nepal is backward in education system until today’s modern times due to the theoretical knowledge and rote learning. Theoretical education is based on textual content books and Practical education is based on various kinds of abilities and approach. In Nepal, most concern is given to the theoretical education rather than practical as programs is based on this. Some of schools has used the practical approach of teaching-learning activities but the greater part are lacking. Assumptive education focal points only within the texts books and it is exam-oriented as well. Most of the contents or topics of your curriculum is not useful in our very life. Additionally, one of my buddies told me that Nepal can not make a progress until and unless this (theoretical) education method is modified. I’m too absolutely agree with my pal view that if the curriculum or education pattern is not change, country will be in same condition since it is, for more few years. Till right now, we are adopting traditional approach of educational practice based upon theory. Likewise, Rote Learning is a great technique which in turn avoids understanding of a subject and in turn focusing on memorization. Rote learning is often view as a awful practice that is not good for the students. It makes students lifeless, unskilled, significantly less creativity and much more. In Nepal, If the college students don’t recognized the topic, teacher encourages learners for rote learning somewhat teaching the contents completely from the 1st. In addition to, Practical education supports students’ to grab up skills which helps these to stand separately in any jobs and performs. They will capable to learn by understanding and doing virtually in their life. Professors also need to use the practical methods of educating day to day which usually helps to take creativeness to students and make the college students provide suitable logic and understanding regarding the subject matter. Rote Learning is practiced in topics like Technology, Social and Nepali. Nevertheless , the new tendency has been found out which involves the rote learning of subjects like Math. College students couldn’t be familiar with methods trained by teacher because of fewer practical method. So , they will rote learn them by mathematical methods. To conclude, it appears that the necessity of the practical structured education in Nepal is important. For that, the primary role which our government can easily play is to change present curriculum and bring about changes which includes 80% practical understanding and leftover as assumptive. Also, there could be a class in which students happen to be taught around the international and national issues.
