Heroes and villains Essay
In today’s contemporary society, one does not wear a cape or be able to take flight to be a main character. Someone does not wear black and have an evil laugh as a villain either. Today, a common, everyday person can be changed into a main character or bad guy almost instantly. A catalyst is definitely needed to carry this out transformation. A conference usually has to pull out the heroic qualities of a person. For instance a individual that witnesses a car accident and this person runs for the scene with the burning car and pulls the occupant(s) out risking his individual life to do so. If perhaps this accident had not experienced happened, your husband would never have been considered a hero of any type. Another example of this is Stuart Diver. He was buried within a landslide in 1997. Following 3 days and against all probabilities, Stuart was pulled in from the ruble. The mass media labeled him as a hero. One day Stuart was snowboarding in Threadbo, the next having been fighting for his like under his house and the next having been a household brand and a hero. To become villain there is also a different ‘procedure’. A person must carry out an wicked act to be considered a villain. Suicide bombers happen to be instantly grouped as evil doers the second they will detonate their very own bomb. 2 minutes prior to the detonation, the bomber was an ordinary person who looked like having been minding his own organization, no one could have suspected having been a soon-to-be villain. Although people need to remember that they are martyrs because of their cause. They will feel they are doing the right thing by killing people and their people idolize and label these people as characters. Another example of this is ‘chopper’ Reed. He went throughout the streets eliminating many people that he tagged ‘bad’ persons (mainly drug dealers…). Moto thought he was doing the world a favor by killing these people, but as society claims – anyone that kills can be described as villain. An individual who accidentally launches a poisonous gas and eliminates many people can also be branded a bad guy by explanation, but In my opinion a bad guy has to have the intention to create havoc and evil. Which means this is an example of how an ordinary person can suddenly be called a bad guy by way of a oversight – which usually acts as the catalyst. Therefore yes, the rest of us can suddenly become villains or heroes at the flick of a swap but almost always there is going to be a catalyst, a conference that will perform the transformation.
