A Research On Congenital Visual Agnosia And Prosopagnosia Essay

Case Research: Congenital Visual Agnosia and Prosopagnosia in a kid
In this paper I am performing a literature review and analyzing the research study of a specific younger individual with Congenital Visual Agnosia and Prosopagnosia. Visible agnosia may be the impairment of the acknowledgement of different object stimuli, which can't be explained by additional sensory losses (Ariel, & Sadeh, 1996). There is reported to be two different classifications or types of diagnosed visible agnosia, associate and appreciative agnosia (Ariel, & Sadeh, 1996). Appreciative agnosia is due to perseptual impartments, and associative agnosia could be trigger by multiple different circumstances that cause the increased loss of object acknowledgement, and don 't actually appear to be connected with no other extreme visible impairments (Ariel, & Sadeh, 1996). In this instance the child seems to have a case of associative developmental agnosia.
Congenital Visible Agnosia in this specific child's case, had not been cause by anything impacting a visual perceptual program that was regular (Ariel, & Sadeh, 1996). Rather, in this specific case the kid had visual program that originated abnormally since birth (Ariel, & Sadeh, 1996). Additionally it is mentioned in this instance study that particular case of congenital visible agnosia is very important to study in understanding both agnosia in kids but also how object acknowledgement systems should develop normally (Ariel, & Sadeh, 1996). In this specific case study the kid they are considering was
